INFITEK Portable Digital Refractometer RFT-PDHN2
What is a refractometer?
A refractometer is a device used to detect changes of a certain extent by the refraction or reflection of light as it passes through the optical properties of a substance. It is often used to determine the concentration or composition of liquids or solutions. The refractometer evaluates the optical properties of the sample by measuring the refractive index of light.
Refractometers are used in various fields, especially in the food industry, chemical laboratories, pharmacy and the agricultural sector. For example, a Brix refractometer used to determine sugar content can be used in juice or wine production. Similarly, a water refractometer is also commonly used to determine water content.
