Multi-Station Ultrasonic Cleaning Machines MU-5

Multi-station ultrasonic cleaning machines are advanced technology systems that can perform multiple cleaning processes sequentially or in parallel. In these systems, processes such as pre-washing, ultrasonic washing, rinsing, passivation, and drying are applied in a combined and sequential manner.

Each process station is independently controllable. ASP/ABR frequency selection, digital generators, PLC control system, and fully automatic conveying system are among the standard features of our machines.

Cleaning Processes and Stages

The selection and sequence of cleaning processes are determined specifically according to the structure of the product to be cleaned. The main processes applied in this context are as follows:

Pre-washing: Removes coarse dirt from the surface of the part before ultrasonic washing. This shortens the total washing time and extends the service life of the ultrasonic washing tank. It can be applied under pressure or with circulation, depending on the need.

Ultrasonic Washing: High-frequency sound waves propagating in water cause cavitation (the bursting of microscopic air bubbles) on the surface of the material. This effect ensures thorough cleaning of dirt, oil, and residues on the surface. It provides precise cleaning even on the most complex and hard-to-reach surfaces. Depending on the request, 28 kHz, 40 kHz, or both frequencies (dual frequency) can be applied.

Rinsing: To prevent the oil and dirt-dissolving chemicals used in the ultrasonic cleaning stage from leaving stains on the part surface, rinsing is performed by circulating water. 40 kHz ultrasonic systems are preferred for rinsing processes requiring very high precision.

Passivating: In this optional process, special passivation chemicals are applied to the material surface to increase the corrosion (rusting) resistance of the product.

Drying: The material surface is dried by blowing hot air with the help of resistors and fans. Depending on the geometry of the part and the need, vacuum drying or water scraping systems can be integrated.

Note: Machine dimensions and ultrasonic power capacity vary depending on the dimensions of the part to be cleaned and the daily volume of parts processed. Our products are manufactured as standard from AISI 304 grade stainless steel for the outer casing and construction, and from AISI 316L grade high-strength stainless steel for the washing tanks.
