Multi-station ultrasonic washing machines are advanced systems that can carry out several cleaning processes sequentially or in parallel. In these systems, processes such as pre-washing, ultrasonic washing, rinsing, passivation and drying are applied in a combined, consecutive manner.

Each process station can be controlled independently. ASP/ABR frequency selection, digital generators, a PLC control system and a fully automatic transport system are among the standard features of our machines.

Cleaning processes and stages

The selection and sequence of cleaning processes are determined specifically according to the structure of the product to be cleaned. The main processes applied are:

• Pre-washing: removes coarse dirt from the part surface before ultrasonic washing. This shortens the total washing time and extends the service life of the ultrasonic washing tank. It can be applied as pressurised or circulating washing as required.
• Ultrasonic washing: high-frequency sound waves propagating in water create cavitation (implosion of microscopic air bubbles) on the material surface. This effect deep-cleans dirt, oil and residues from the surface and provides precise cleaning even on the most complex and hard-to-reach surfaces. 28 kHz, 40 kHz or both frequencies combined (dual frequency) can be applied on request.
• Rinsing: rinsing is carried out by circulating water so that the degreasing and cleaning chemicals used in the ultrasonic washing stage do not leave stains on the part surface. 40 kHz ultrasonic systems are preferred for rinsing that requires very high precision.
• Passivation: in this optional process, special passivation chemicals are applied to the material surface to increase the product's corrosion (rust) resistance.
• Drying: the material surface is dried by blowing hot air with heaters and fans. Depending on the part geometry and requirements, vacuum drying or water-stripping systems can be integrated.

Note: machine dimensions and ultrasonic power vary depending on the size of the parts to be cleaned and the daily quantity of parts to be processed. As standard, the outer body and frame of our products are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the washing tanks of high-strength AISI 316L stainless steel.
