The Cruma PCR cabinet is a benchtop enclosure built for genetic amplification by polymerase chain reaction. Three 15 W germicidal UV tubes and a built-in timer sterilise the interior and work surface, limiting cross-contamination between DNA/RNA samples. The 4 mm tempered-glass front shields the operator from UV, and the UV lamps switch off automatically if the front is opened.
