Benchtop fume hoods, which remove airborne acid vapours, chemical vapours and unpleasant odours, are the preferred model for laboratories that have already been set up and need a fume hood later. Placed on existing benches, these units can also be moved to another location by a few people simply by disconnecting the fan connection and the power plug.
Our performance fume hoods are manufactured in accordance with the relevant Turkish standards and the European standard EN 14175, and have also been designed with reference to the American standard ASHRAE 110 (optional).
Benchtop fume hoods can be integrated into central systems or operate stand-alone with their own ventilation ducts and powerful extraction. Thanks to the microprocessor in the (optional) fume hood control panel, the airflow and VAV control system provides extraction compliant with TS EN 14175. With the optional internal temperature reading, an alarm warns you when the temperature is not suitable for your experiment, so you can stop the experiment or production.
Because benchtop fume hoods exhaust the air they take from the room, make sure the fresh air supply of your laboratory is always active. The baffle inside the hood prevents heavy and light gases from circulating within the unit and ensures that gases drawn in from outside and generated during experiments or production are exhausted. An ATEX-certified explosion-proof fan is available as an option for flammable and combustible applications.
On request, industrial ceramic with a raised edge, offering very high chemical resistance as well as scratch and impact resistance, can be chosen as the work surface, and other solutions can be produced depending on the chemicals used.
The interior of the benchtop fume hood is lined with polypropylene (PP) as required. In addition to the inner side walls, top and back, care should be taken that the rear baffle is also made of PP.
Although benchtop fume hood models usually have gas, air and nitrogen fittings, users choose other fume hood models when water or a drain is required.
Benchtop fume hood models are more economical than other models.
